OCD Awareness Week
#OCDweek is a worldwide event that serves to dispel myths about obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), break the stigma around mental illness and provide education about the disorder and how to support those affected. For the over 200 million people worldwide living with OCD, public misconception can prevent them from accessing the timely, effective treatment they need to move from suffering to thriving. This #OCDweek, whether you share facts, tell your own story or share your creativity, your support makes a powerful difference.

Join us for Creating Connections, a fundraising exhibition celebrating art, community and wellbeing.
Hosted by OCD WA, Western Australia’s peak organisation for Obsessive–Compulsive and Related Disorders (OCRDs), this event brings together 12 local artists to share their work in support of people living with OCD and their families.
Funds raised will go directly to sustaining peer support groups, advocacy and community education programs that reduce stigma and foster understanding.
Over two weeks, visitors will have the opportunity to:

Connect with artists and community members
Take part in public workshops and special meet and greet sessions
Whether you are an art lover, a health professional, or simply curious, Creating Connections offers a chance to experience the power of creativity in bringing people together while contributing to a vital community cause.
